For an introduction please see QuantiForce Brass.
Measure the force that is applied to the mouthpiece with high resolution of approximately 0.1 N (~10 gram).
Loudness measurements depend on the distance to the source. This sensor measures the loudness at a fixed position relative to the instrument in order to receive comparable values.
Easily mount the sensor onto instruments using the bracket. Quickly detach and reattach the sensor while leaving the bracket at the instrument.
See the current lip force and loudness in real-time on a clear display with circle and bar visual elements in the app.
See the relation of lip force and loudness in real-time on a 2D graph display in the app.
See how lip force and loudness vary over time on time series graph displays in the app.
Optionally display the live camera image from the front or back camera of the device that runs the app.
Record the live display to a movie file which you can analyze later or share. Everything the app displays is recorded, including the live camera image if selected.
Where possible, plastic parts are manufactured in-house using biodegradable material (PLA) which is made from renewable resources. This is good for the environment but it also lets us respond quickly to different shapes of brass instruments that we have not seen yet. And it also gives each part a unique look. Please contact us in case the delivered adapters don't fit your instrument and we will find a solution.
